Privacy Policy

The Simple Version

I don't spy on you. I don't sell your data. I don't even want your data. My tools are designed to run locally on your machine without phoning home. When you buy something, I collect only what's needed to deliver your purchase.

What Information I Collect

When you purchase a tool:

• Email address (to send your license)
• Name (for the invoice)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe - I never see your card details)

When you join a waitlist:

• Email address (to notify you when the tool launches)

When you use my tools:

• Nothing. Zero. Nada. My tools don't have analytics, telemetry, or any phone-home features.

How I Use Your Information

• Send you the product you purchased
• Send important updates about your purchase (critical bugs, security issues)
• Notify you when a waitlisted product launches (only if you signed up)
• Send receipts and invoices

I will never:

• Sell your information to anyone
• Send marketing emails unless you explicitly opted in
• Share your data with third parties (except Stripe for payments)

Data Storage & Security

Your purchase information is stored securely in encrypted databases. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI compliant and used by millions of businesses. I don't store your credit card information - ever.

License keys are generated uniquely and stored with standard encryption. Even if someone somehow got access to the database, they couldn't reverse-engineer valid licenses.

Cookies & Tracking

This website uses minimal cookies:

• Shopping cart contents (stored locally in your browser)
• Basic preferences (like filter selections)

No tracking cookies. No analytics cookies. No advertising cookies. When you close your browser, you're forgotten.

Third-Party Services

I use only essential third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing (they have their own privacy policy)
• Email delivery service: To send you licenses and updates

That's it. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting networks.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of any data I have about you
• Request deletion of your data (except what's legally required for tax records)
• Unsubscribe from any emails instantly
• Ask questions about your data

GDPR & CCPA Compliance

I comply with GDPR (European privacy law) and CCPA (California privacy law). This means:

• You have the right to access your data
• You have the right to correct your data
• You have the right to delete your data
• You have the right to data portability
• I only process data with legal basis (contract fulfillment)

Children's Privacy

My tools are developer tools. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you're under 13 and somehow interested in port management tools, please get parental permission first (and also, impressive!).

Changes to This Policy

If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes that affect existing customers, I'll send an email notification.
